Assistant Audit Manager



Key responsibilities include:

  • To assist Audit manager where needed
  • To manage a portfolio of audits and to ensure that the quality the audits are effectively and efficiently managed within the allocated resource
  • To attend to requests of the Senior Management relating to audits
  • To manage audit teams’ performance and implement a culture of performance management

Key requirements:

  • Completed 3 year SAICA articles
  • CA(SA) with at least 1-year post-article experience will be a advantage
  • Ability to communicate effectively on all levels (English and Afrikaans)
  • Technically competent i.e. knowledge of accounting and auditing statements, tax and other relevant Acts

Other key qualities:

  • Strong strategic thinking and principle-centered leadership ability
  • Ability to take full ownership of work responsibility
  • Good problem solving, time management and delegation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationship skills

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
